There’s a sprinkle of magic in the air at Kotterbos, a forest secret to many, a gem waiting to enthrall. This hideout is located in Flevoland (between Almere and Lelystad) and shares its borders with the stunning Oostvaardersplassen, one of the largest protective nature reserves in West Europe, home to many unique wildlife and wetland migratory birds. You are hardly alone as you stand amidst the magnificent Kotterbos trees, in awe of the breathtaking fauna surrounding you. For deers, rabbits, Scottish Highlanders, Church Owls and even an almost-extinct Sea Eagle make the occasional sighting. Nature takes its own course, as does Het Kotterbos with the multitude of courses in the 340-hectares great outdoors or cosy comfort of our outback lodge. From hosting teambuilding workshops, to corporate and school retreats, hiking, biking, lake kayaking, to archery, or even wedding or birthday receptions, naughty hen and stag nights, you can be sure there are plenty of heartbeats, of people and wildlife while feeling completely at one with nature here.
